This extensive renovation to an Italianate home featured both careful attention to the strong period details of the building and very modern interventions. The exterior was restored to its original style, with added porches and rails to fit the strong Italianate details. Inside, very modern interventions – Rift sawn oak kitchen cabinets, steel and walnut closets, slate and glass tiling – are carefully placed among huge replicated wood moldings and custom plaster moldings.
